Directs, supervises, and coordinates production processes for LED circuit board assembly manufacturing area.
Maintains and improves uninterrupted production, product quality, schedules, cost efficiency, employee relations, and safety.
Responsible for the implementation and modification of manufacturing processes for new products in accordance with customer specifications and at the most cost-efficient method possible, consistent with safety, quality, operator involvement and product introduction schedules.
Train employees and acts as department training coordinator for all training programs.
Provides technical support to the Design Team to evaluate the feasibility of new manufacturing products/processes.
Responsible for production defect analysis and repair processes.
Responsible for eliminating production defects.
Appraises employee job performance, coaches and manages conflict and issues corrective discipline to employees as needed.
Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation.
Previous experience with circuit board assembly manufacturing methods and processes is desired. Must possess good creative/advisory/informational/instructional/communication/problem solving/meeting skills. High School diploma or GED plus 2 to 4 years of college or equivalent. Software: MS Office; Equipment: Various circuit board assembly manufacturing equipment including screen printers, chip shooters, reflow ovens, automated optical inspection equipment.
